With over a billion users, YouTube is a great platform for developing video campaigns to engage customers and generate brand awareness.
Unlike traditional TV ads, YouTube ads are much more cheaper, measurable and offer various targeting options. Additionally, you’re only charged if a user watches 30 seconds of the video or finishes the video, whichever comes first.
There are two main ad formats in YouTube:
TrueView In-stream – The video ads are shown before the start of other videos or during intervals of longer videos, with viewers given the option to skip after 5 seconds.
TrueView In-display – The video ads are displayed as banners and thumbnails to attract users to click on the video.
